Descrivtive writing



WALT use adjectives and similes to describe a setting clearly

   PLANNING!

What sounds could you hear during a thunderstorm?  Creek Crack Zing Zang Woooooo Wizz Zap Zzzzzzzzzz
What can you see?  What are your feelings?  Are you touching anything?  Are there any smells?
You might be able to think of some onomatopoeia.
Could you write a short paragraph describing what it would be like to be caught in a storm, using some of your ideas from above?




CREEPY  SPOOKY Rooky Mysterious.
Bitter and cold Not so brave and bold the wind wails and sings woe oh woe is they that try to Escape this punishment. The Lighting flashers a fan crashers. I’m Crouched under the grain bags in the basement of the... Zzzzzzzzzzz Lightning hit the power lines. Oh dear oh no my only source of is now smash on the floor. Creak Crack Smack and now I’m lying on the floor. Amazing extraordinary that power pole punched down the whole wall. The clouds go white and open up wizz zing zang sun rays streams through. The thunder Roars in disbelief His trusty clouds have disobeyed and now the sun is nealy in full View The thunder Roars once again Lightning flashers all around slap Lightning Hits the clouds then they turn Gray with fear and wind whooshes in the air zap zing pow the sun turns back and the last of it almost gone so take look at it before it goes…
